1910 BLERIOT II

Built in the early 1950’s by the University of Calgary, this Bleriot illegally flew the English channel to celebrate Louis Bleriot’s 1910 crossing. It was Impounded by the French authorities and exhibited in a Paris Museum. 
Acquired by Tallmantz for the Warner Bros Hollywood WW1 production “Lafayette Escadrille” and later part of the Weeks Air Museum. 
Fitted with a Continental 65hp engine. UK registered and a LAA Permit to Fly. Has appeared in subsequent movies in UK, Europe and at many airshows. In flyable condition. £POA

THE GREAT WALDO PEPPER SOPWITH CAMEL

A unique replica Sopwith Camel, constructed by Tallmantz in the USA using original drawings for “The Great Waldo Pepper” Hollywood film.
Fitted with a 165 Hp Warner Super Scarab engine, this aircraft was tested and developed for the film by the legendary Art Scholl and has has flown in many other well known film and TV productions in the US, the UK and Europe. 
British registered and on an LAA permit to fly. Fitted with a Trig 8.33 VHF, starter and brakes make this a “go anywhere WW1 aircraft”. A movie star at airshows and still earns its keep 50 years later. £125,000.

1913 MANNING FLANDERS “MILITARY” MONOPLANE

Built by Personal Plane Services from sketches discovered in 1950, it is thought that this is the prototype. Powered by a Continental A75 engine this aircraft flies well with good performance and provided itself crossing the English Channel in 1984 piloted by the Hon Patrick Lindsay.
The aircraft appeared in numerous film and TV productions including “Wind in the Willows”, “Wings”, and “Earth, Wind and Fire”.
Some fabric recommissioning is required to renew its LAA permit to fly. £POA.

1946 STAMPE SV4C RESTORATION PROJECT

Serial Number 55.
Acquired in 1974 for the UK film production “Aces High” this aircraft was used for all of the ground rig and studio shots posing as a SE5a fighther.
It is 90% complete. Renault engine requires an overhaul. Can be supplied with the SE5a “Aces High” CAA approved modifications. British Registered.

1917 SOPWITH CAMEL PROJECT

Built to original drawings many years ago in South Africa.

1917 SOPWITH PUP PROJECT

A unique restoration project centred around an original imperial gift aircraft , identity C306, that was discovered in South Africa. 
Comprises of original parts, full drawing set and an 80hp Clerget engine.

1918 FOKKER DR1 TRIPLANE PROJECT

Build to Sands drawings in the USA and constructed to a very high standard by a specialist builder of Fokker DR1s and first World War aircraft.
All structure, wood and metalwork is complete. Just requires finishing, covering, etc.
Comes complete with a Lycoming engine mount if required.
Can be supplied with a 165hp Warner Super Scarab engine (requiring overhaul).

1918 (WICHITA) FOKKER D7

1929 Travel Air 2000. Ex Tallmantz collection acquired via the Weeks Air Museum.
Ranger 180 6 cylinder engine.
This extremely rare and famous aircraft is the last remaining of the many Wichita Fokker D7 fighters that appeared in the epic 1930’s war movies including “Men With Wings” and 1950’s production “Lafayette Escadrille”.
It comes with a fascinating history file. Part restored. UK based.

Swiss Army operated until the 1980’s. Re-engined with a Lycoming T-51 gas turbine.
Recent hot section overhauled.

1966 ANDREASSON BA4

The prototype of these wonderful ‘all metal’ aerobatic biplanes.
This famous aircraft was flown by Peter Phillips and much loved on the airshow scene during the 1970s and 80s.
In recent times it was the smallest aircraft to fly from the UK to Australia. Since then it has been fully overhauled, repainted and comes with winter covers.
